Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Clematis & Artist Alcohol Markers Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi guys,

Welcome to the Altenew blog hop to celebrate the release of the new Paint-A-Flower Clematis Outline Stamp. How beautiful is this stamp set?!

You may have found yourself here from Yoonsun Hur and after me you should go show some love to Kelly Latevola. I feel pretty lucky being sat between these two royalties of the crafting world!

As you scroll down my post, you will find my design and also all the details of how you can enter to win prizes. At the bottom of my post you will find the full list of the fabulous designers who are sharing their amazing talent with you today.

So, I was thinking out of the box with my design...completely! As you will see, I have not painted anything. This was quite on purpose!

I thought this stamp was stunning and as I mentioned in my last blog post, I love having a background and this stamp has it all, including the trellis look that reminds me of an English country garden. Now read the sentiment...I know this may all seem a bit deep and you may be saying 'gosh, I am just following a blog hop" but I am a Mental Health Clinician after all! 😁

My design became a slimline card - I stamped it twice to achieve this.

I didn't paint the flower at all (despite it being part of the Paint-A-Flower outline stamp) and I used a sentiment that was as unique as the recipient would be, that is also part of this stamp set.

If there's one thing that I have learned in my mental health practice, is not to take everything on face value. Don't assume about others and don't judge.

This stamp set was designed for a certain type of activity, but I wanted to show you that you can use this stamp set in many ways...colouring it is just one way!

Giveaway Prizes

$200 in total prizes!

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 2 lucky winners and a $20 gift certificate to 5 winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and/or each designer’s blog post on the blog hop list below by 02/28/2021 for a chance to win.

Altenew will draw 7 random winners from the comments left on each stop of this blog hop and announce the winners on the Altenew Winners Page on 03/02/2021.

I do want to give a mention that Altenew are also releasing some Artist Alcohol Markers today along with this set, and the colours are fabulous......I have heard good things about these markers though I haven't used them myself, I can feel a need to get hold of a few! Hahaha...

Here is the list of the designers blogs who are taking part in this hop, go show some love...💗

  36. Oh, WOW, this is truly an example of less is more! May I have permission to copy this idea? It can be used for so many needs with just a change of sentiment. Even my husband liked it and he is not a flower kind of guy.
